I plant bromeliads in pots and hang them on the wall.
Like most of the world the weather was unpredictable over the last year and though it seems that summer may be just about stabilised now in December, our seasons seem to be running six weeks late or going back to the seasonal calendar I grew up with.
That is awesome! Very cool :-)
ReplyDeleteNow I'm homesick, I miss my peacocks back home in the Napa Valley. I heard about two groups of local feral peacocks here in Idaho but I don't know if they can stand the week of subfreezing temperatures that we've had. They can survive cold winters if their feet don't freeze, so I hope they have a warm place to roost!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Have fun with your new toy :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the comments. The temperature here in winter gets only down to about 8*C here ( 30*F) so they seem to be ok. When the park had female peacocks they thrived too well and we had peacocks everywhere but Dept Conservation ( ha!! ) decided they were a pest and shot all but 3 males. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy. I had one too but it gradually begin to fall apart, wish I had one now.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots!
