I tried doing an embedded photo album to a blog and it makes it into a slide show. Learn something new everyday I guess. Also put the link to the album in the blog.
Really lovely Lynda. Your home is filling with colours in the garden. The new camera is capturing well. Some adorable photos there of the horses. Thanks for sharing and I bet that you are glad that the outside has also become very rewarding for you to photograph.
These sunflowers were apparently planted by the birds in a galvanized tub that I had planned on for something else. I think I like the sunflowers better even though they have to have water every day. The flower beds & tubs are on soaker hoses to come on every M_W_F during the night for 3 hours each time. Actually if I could find the right timer every 3 days for 3-4 hours would be much better. The older established drought resistant plants don't need as much as some of the others but just have the one system for that 180 feet of flower bed.
Thanks for the reply Lynda. I think we can buy timers with that kind of delay on them. The older plants can usually look after themselves but of course the newbies on the block they need all the hydration that they can get. So you must be doing something right.

ReplyDeleteWonderful series. Love horses - they beautiful animals - and lovely garden shots with the waterlillies & sunflowers.
