The Flower Festival, that takes place in spring when the flowers are at their best, is one of the major attractions in the island. I happened to be in Madeira island, last weekend, when the Festival was held. A myriad of flowers, a myriad of colours...
I'm transfixed.
ReplyDeleteThe photos show just a little bit of the festival. I had not enough free time to take as many photos as I would have liked, as the festival was not my main purpose to fly to Madeira island.

ReplyDeleteI see many plants and flowers here that I have in my garden and suspect that they are Australian natives being grown there too.
