This was the beautiful sight to meet my eyes as I left from work tonight. I had my camera with me and decided to share the photos I took on the way to my car with you, together with the information about tonight's moon.

Tomorrow night will be a good time to take advantage of a full moon for all those who enjoy to 'shoot the moon'.

  7. Well the full moon is working I see LOL....Funny boys ....Actually just went out an looked up at the gorgeous full moon and even though it is shrouded by light clouds it is stunning. Thanks for the comments much appreciated indeed.

  9. Bill would not know Bert and his moon face Peter being from England.
    That was funny that the moon was wearing a wig of branches and twigs.
    It was beautifully centred between the branches when I first saw it but by the time I could snap it had moved up a bit. Hence the wig look lol.
    My silhouette special eh?

  11. A Theodolite and watch will give elevation but the offset for knocking out would be the distance ---?

    I took a hand held photo of the moon
    and you can see the craters.
    Have you ever taken a pic of
    moonlight?
