Bobby promised he would make me a pond when I moved to USA to be with him,and he did. This is part of my pond garden,we had a well so watering my garden was no problem,my roses just loved it,our chookies, ducks and geese roamed the yard so we had no bugs in our garden
We have almost 4acres up the back yard,a lovely gentle climb uphill,I often walk the whole length, lol good exercise for me,up the top we get a beautiful view all over the valley, over the Autumn it is especially pretty,we often get deer walking around up back, which I am always thrilled seeing them up there, we leave them a Mineral salt block up there, deer love that
Oh! I love your home!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Is this stream behind your home?

ReplyDeleteG'day,I am from New Zealand,I have lived in USA for almost 5years with my American husband Bobby. We have got the dearest little cottage here in KY with almost 4acres out the back including a lovely Springfed Stream, you can see some of the Wildflowers I grew along the edge, these flowers have bloomed all over Summer and here we are Autumn and they are still looking wonderful, our 4acres climbs up a slight hill which is great exercise, from up the top we get a wonderful view,we have lots of lovely trees which are just starting to turn, over Spring time our beautiful old Dogwood trees bloom up there, they are absolutely beautiful,I will have to share a picture for you all..this Multiply is all very new to me so I am still learning all the ropes..thankyou to my matey milli for inviting me girl..

ReplyDeleteKia Ora miadelight,it is always nice to run into another Kiwi, compared to the rest of the World there are so few of us,but we always seem to find each other don't we. I was an avid gardener in New Zealand as are probably most Kiwis and the Aussies,we love to get into that dirt don't we,and with our climates Kiwis do not realize what a gardeners paridise they live in..I have added a NZ Landscapers 360 site for y'all to lok through their Blog if you want.
