Pic of The Day~ Wisteria in Bloom.

I have been looking at the Spring gardens around my area lately and many are so gorgeous that I am glad I have my camera with me.

I have a neighbour down the road and he cut down a magnificent old palm tree awhile back.

He then built a heavy duty frame over the stump and has planted different coloured wisterias beneath the frame.

You can see how beautiful they look now from this:

  1. Awesome, I can imagine the wonderful smell under the arbor....It's fall here, and I'm having wistful memories of my spring garden.

  2. Thanks Mia I will need to knock on the door and ask to take a few more photos. They are so gorgeous. I took the photos from the street side of the fence, as I passed by.

  3. Amy they were brilliant in the late afternoon sun. I do not think you can see the bee by the size of the photo here being no zoom, However there is at least one bee on a flower in the photo. Bees love them.

  4. Dawn I could smell their sweet fragrance as I approached. Yours would be going into bare twisted wood soon?

  5. We're at the turning point where the leaves fall. Come to think of it, the wisteria
IS beautiful in midwinter, also, as you mentioned with the twisted wood.

  6. Wisteria is my all time, absolute favorite flower! I once knew someone who had this beauty growing on and between two trees where a hammock hung. It was breathtaking just to lay there breathing in the scent while getting lost in the wonder of it all.

  7. Now that would be a scented way to spend a day with the eyes closed or a spectacular way to spend some time with them open..what a gorgeous sight. Great idea too.
