  9. No it is a Xmas cactus its been in the family 70 years it always flowers From before xmas until Feb

  13. We all have to treat our plants differently across the globe and where here we will prune at this stage or even before they are as dry. You are wise to protect your plant..nature knows.

  14. We do the same. My beds look like a dried up weed patch with all the dead stems, leaves, flower and seed pods and all the blown in leaves and such. I have started gradually working on it, knowing what needs done now.
