Our flower season is slowly going to an end in Switzerland, but the Dahlias decided to give a last burst of colour before they go to their sleeping quarters packed in earth in the cellar. In March they will awaken slowly but surely for another display of colour next year.
Ooooooo, ahhhhhh! I love the bright orange contrasted against the dark green. Truly stunning :-)

I adore Dahlias Pat they are such a vibrant and beautiful flowering plant. Nice to know where you keep those bulbs too because the cellar sounds perfect for them.

ReplyDeleteThis is really gorgeous. I love the colour of the dahlias and how you presented this photo. It's outstanding. Yeah bulby things are great because they make babies and you can share them with other people, so they get a little piece of you in their gardens
